    Parameters you can mod while tuning with flashed ECU's

    I see some ppl wondering about what can be done with an ECU tune. Just like to get a thread going dedicated to that. Ill add what I know, maybe a link or 2 to some threads. Please add what you know! Id like to make this a reference for ppl who want to know what can be done with flashed ECU, which is of course still evolving.

    So far, you can easily scale your injectors with 1 parameter. You can alter your f/a ratio table as well. Timing can be altered. MAF parameters can be changed. Idle, rev limits can be altered. Ive been told fuel cut can be changed.

    There are many peripheries you can change. This is where it gets fuzzy for me. Im told you can alter the o2 sensors, delete some for cars with less than 4, alter what ones to use and how. Jester and Lantern can talk about that.

    I would like to know if you can eliminate the EGR in the flash also. Id also like to know what I have to do in the flash in order to use a MAF that can read more air flow past the limit of the stock.

    99VR4, Jester, aaron, Lantern, Greg etc please feel free to make this thread worth its title! I will be using a VR4 ECU soon, working with a 15g 550cc build. When I learn, I'll post.

    Yes, you can disable the EGR check.

    To use a higher reading MAF, the easiest way is to use an Evo MAF. Greg or Brett has a post about it, it's basically changing the size and scaling.
