The cost of attendance for this day is ZERO, although your donations are greatly appreciated and will go towards funding a bigger and better Texas Gathering for everyone!

Details: Guests will arrive between 4-6:00PM for dinner then drive from the restaurant to Texas Motorplex in Ennis for Fast Friday drag night, lasting until midnight. Food is up to you if you would like to eat, and those coming in from the south are welcome to simply stop once they get to Ennis if they don't want to make the drive all the way into Grapevine.

Drag Details: Texas Motorplex charges $10 for admission to the drag strip as a spectator, and an additional $5 to pass through tech inspection (to race). In order to race both you and your car will have to adhere to any and all existing NHRA rules; including, but not limited to, full pants, closed-toed shoes, helmet/roll cage (for qualifying cars), etc. For more details on these rules, please see the official NHRA rulebook http://www.bremertonraceway.com/2011...20Rulebook.pdf.

    When: Saturday, October 8th
Where: KAN Tuning; Lewisville, TX (1421 N Cowan Ave, Lewisville, TX 75057 - Google Maps)
driving to SpeedZone; Dallas, TX (1421 N Cowan Ave, Lewisville, TX 75057 to Speed Zone - Google Maps)
    When: Saturday, October 8th 2011, 9AM - 3PM

The cost of attendance for this day is $15
(+ $5/guest) and helps to cover the park rental, catered food, potential reimbursement for prizes, and any other incidental costs.

Details: Beginning at 9AM dyno and shop owner Steve Kan of KAN Tuning will host us for another year of fun as we prepare and pull as many cars as we can on the dyno. 2WD, AWD, and motorcycles are welcome in this test of horsepower and tuning dominance. From there, guests will leave for SpeedZone just down the road where an exclusive car show will be hosted on the park grounds (select cars will be parking INSIDE the park at their own discretion). We will have a private room rented for 90 minutes to enjoy a catered meal and kick back for a bit while other park-goers vote on cars. Afterwards, guests can stay and purchase (hopefully discounted*) play cards to go-kart race and play video games together into the night. Afterwards we'll likely be hitting up some bars in Dallas!

PayPal your payment to :: roxbury4ever@hotmail.com and I will update as payment(s) are received. Combine with Sunday's attendance fee for $30 total if you intend to attend both days. Admission is non-refundable due to the early notice that must be given to each venue/food/trophies/etc.

Dyno Details: $35 gets you 3 pulls on the dyno and a printed dyno sheet indicating your best pass(es). Trophies and other awards will be given out to the highest horsepower turbo and N/A 3S cars, so bring your best!

HOTEL: I've established contact with "Christine Kim" at the Comfort Suites at DFW Airport North in Irving. They've recently undergone a substantial renovation and are centrally located from many of the events of the Texas Gathering. Christine welcomes the 3000GT/Stealth community and immediately knew of our cars when I mentioned the event--was very enthusiastic about hosting us. The regular rate at the hotel is $74/night over October 7th - 9th. The group rate that she will extend to us is $69/night, provided we have 10+ rooms booked. Its not much, but if y'all want to stay together, this would be the "go to" hotel. If you'd like to book at this hotel, call 972-929-9097, press 0 at the prompt, and ask for Christine Kim. Refer to the "Mitsubishi 3000GT" group and she'll get you taken care of!

Feel free to reply here, PM, e-mail, or call me if you have any questions!

    Thank you!
