Surface Area vs Volume

Before i buy the heat exchanger for my air/water setup i was looking for some input on core volume vs surface area and less volume.

The two cores are 26x7x3.5 or a 24x12x1(could run two of these).

Any input?

Where do you plan on mounting them? In general, more volume is better. However, if you are mounting one behind the other, the efficiency of the second unit will be greatly reduced, perhaps to the point where a single, larger core becomes the better choice.

They will be front mounted like an intercooler core would be.

If i ran the pair they will be mounted at an angle with the low end forward.

I'm pretty set on the larger core, just wanted some opinion first.

Fuk it, im gonna V mount a pair of 26x7x2's, get surface area and volume
