As required by owning these cars...

I'm looking for a new set of tall jack stands and a nice floor quick jack.

What do you use and do you like them?

I'm interested in this as well.

My current floor jack sucks as it maxes out with the wheels barley off of the ground. Doesn't leave me a lot of room to work as that is all of one notch on my jack stands.

I want to be able to put my car up high on stands as when I leave for work, as my Jack Russell has to go in the garage while I'm not home and he has made a habit of jumping on my VR-4 and walking all over the hood and rear decklid. Needless to say, if it was up higher, he couldn't jump on it.

I bought this Omega about a year and a half ago. I had one of the garbage Craftsman aluminum racing jack. The cylinder failed on it about a month after the one year warranty and it costs more for a replacement cylinder than the $200 I wasted on the stupid jack.

After looking around at all the usual stores I came to the decision to drop some change on a badass jack and be done with it. Bought an Omega 29023 floor jack. Not quite as high end as a Walker or Norco but it's more than enough for my needs.

For you ultra low guys this is the one to have. The saddle gets down to about 2.75"!!!!! For 28" of reach the jack never goes above 4". I can fit the entire 36" of reach under my car without scraping anything.

Picked it up at All Tire Supply here in Houston.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.” -- Author Unknown

I used to have the craftsman pro SUV jack stands. they were more expensive, but they had some decent height (not sure what the specs were). i'd go on the cheap and just try to find the highest stands you can. if i could afford it, i'd have a $12k hydraulic lift in my garage

That looks awesome. $250 is a lot to drop for a jack, but it looks well worth it. Hello birthday present. haha

We use 4-ton stands, w/ a low pro jack from Sears, but we have 6-ton stands as well. They work great.

I'd love to say fuck it and bolt a lift in my garage. That would be grand.
