Best Engine Management for 98 16G built car

Well plans changed and can't get what I want to get for my car being for sale so screw it. I'll keep it dump a little more money into it and have a perfectish car. So that's where I'm at I need a good EMS soon so I figured I'd ask ya'll to see what is up. No real goal HP number just want something reliable I would like to get rid of the stock MAF and well just any MAF in general but not 100% on it. So post away and let me know why you guys picked each, since I haven't paid much attention to the EMS lately.

ARC2, log via the stock ECU using MUT2, you can even fine tune on the stock ECU but the ARC2 can knock out a tune in less time than it takes to install the ARC2 itself, by a few hours.

Buy from Matt and he'll provide you with real time help over the phone and give you a good baseline setting to start with. 2-3 pulls later and it'll be tuned. Just turn the key and drive.

To keep the stock ECU happy you have to keep the fuel trims under 100% or it bugs out, so you just have to keep tabs on it, so its a little more complicated on the 98/99 cars, but dont fuck up the tune and it wont fuck up on you

Thank you, pretty much I'm torn between ARC2, AEM, and EVO Scan.

Edit: Which Matt? Dynamic I'm guessing.

ARC-2 is super easy to tune very hassle free. Since you don't want to max out every last hp from your setup running on the ragged edge this would probably be the best choice.

Your ECU should be flashable which would be the other option. This is more involved but you could even use an EVO MAF to bypass the 400AWHP limit of the stock MAF.

My max hp so far was 406 at 3sx on my 15gs. And I'm still on stock MAF, maybe just a fluke though.

400AWHP might be better described as the limit of which the stock MAF becomes extremely restrictive.

What could I do then to free up the MAF then? Switch it with the Evo MAF? How does Matt have his setup? Also that replaces the need for the SAFC correct?

Gotcha I'd like more then that 400 but nothing insane since I like the drive ability of a stock car but want some power to mess some people up at the track. Which is why I'm leaning towards something MAFless.

Get the ARC2, spare yourself the drama of anything more complicated.

Thanks I appreciate all the help, now I'm leaning towards the ARC.

Edit: After doing some research it says that the arc can only support 720cc but I have 750cc, I also have Oohnoo's full fuel kit so should that help?
