    LOL Craigslist scammers

Someone responding to my ad for my 350Z:

    Hello,

Thanks for the mail, am really interested in it and i will appreciate it if you can send me more pictures if you have, i am buying it as a gift for my son who just graduated from the University of Auckland in New Zealand,i want it to be a surprise gift for him, he wont know anything about it until it is delivered to him, but due to the nature of my job, phone calls and visiting of website are restricted but i squeezed out time to check this advert i cant be able to come and view it and pay in cash but i have contact a pick up company they will be coming to pick it after i have paid for it,,i can only pay through Paypal as i don't have access to my bank account online as i don't have internet banking, but i have my bank acct attached to my paypal account and this is why i insisted on paying you through Paypal,so kindly get back to me with your full name and paypal email address so i can proceed with the payment now, but if you dont have an account with them you can set up a paypal account via www.paypal.com it very easy and fast, it wont take you than 3 minute to do that, i will proceed with the payment as soon as you send me your paypal email address and contact the pick up agent to arrange a convenient pickup time with you, once payment has been transferred and cashed.

I believe i can trust you on this transaction cause i need a faithful and loyal person to transact business with not fraudster. I hope to read back from you soon
    Should I play along?

Absolutely. I had a guy I kept going for about a week and a half that was trying to scam me on a laptop. I finally sent him an email letting him know I was just wasting his time and told him to enjoy the beautiful scenery in Nigeria.

Same story that I got awhile back...

Then I had a guy supposedly in the AirForce in Alaska selling a GMC. Tried to get me twice in 6 months.

Help them, for they know not that which they do not know!

I've gotten more of those than I can count. The last one I received I replied:

"I suggest you find a new way of making a living, this isn't my first rodeo pal."

I wouldn't use your own photos and crap, or it will end up being another scam selling the car. I am unsure how these scams usually work... do they actually try to pick up the car? If so, I'd try and send him to a wrong address somewhere, not to your house.

If he deposited money in your Paypal, and you immediately transferred the money to your bank account, how can he scam you. Not sure I get this one.

Probably gonna send you a fake paypal email and try and get you to log into a phishing website.

you better never intend to use PayPal or Ebay ever again. My guess is the paypal account they are using isn't theirs, false account, etc.or something to that effect
