For those of you who are worried about driving the distance, you could always fly in. I guarantee you will still have fun even without your car. There are at least three major airports nearby: Indy, and then Cinci and Louisville are a little over an hour. Getting a ride from the a fellow NGer shouldn't be a problem.

2285 miles one way. But for a 300 mile detour I can visit the folks in TX. I might just make the drive - yeah it's grueling and time consuming but you see much more on the way

The Indy airport is very close to the hotel.. In fact, the hotel offers a free shuttle service, or I'm always happy to pick someone up if it's prior to registration starting on Tuesday and I'm not down there by myself again. And I swear.... If I'm by myself again, there's gonna be hell to pay for the committee members. And someone had better supply me with some Bailey's... A LOT of Bailey's....
