Thanks, guys. You too, Stealthee. But honestly, I don't let it bother me that much. It just kinda brings me down a little, so I thought if I asked nicely maybe we could avoid it. Besides, 2011 has been decided... I'm sure we can find other things we'd rather rant about.

Good that it doesn't bother you too much, but in all honesty the people that complain about it being too far or have disparaging things to say are people that haven't been to the NG and don't understand the work that really goes into it. I realize I've only been to one (where I met you and Alan) but I worked my ass off at that event simply because I had no car so it was easy for me to help out at every event. Yet i still cannot fathom the amount of work that goes in to the run up to the event.

Well, here's an idea for the west coast people. Drum up the interest again and maybe we could have the West Coast Gatherings in Vegas again. I missed out on those for health reasons and it really pisses me off. I only kid about it being closer and I understand what goes into it. I had no idea about your work situation. I feel like I'm missing out on not having been to the NG once. I'd really like to meet a lot of you. I've missed out for health reasons and for the last couple of years it's been money.

Well, I'm going to do what I can to get the car up to snuff and put aside money to come out there, wherever there might be, for 2011.

I'm def going this year, and I'm assuming it will still be in Indy. That's still a 10+ hour drive for me, and it is totally worth it. I do think, if it ever moves further west, dont think it will though, cause I'd say there are more owners east of the Mississippi, a good place would be Topeka, Kansas. They have an NHRA track there, that also has a very nice road course as well, with the drag strip as part of it. Just a thought. But I'll go wherever it is, even if it was in Alaska, prolly wouldnt drive though lol.

I just want to know the planned date, I'm planning to take a road trip to see my wife's family in ND so that will make us probably 1/2-2/3 of the way. If I can work the trip into one that is.

Lori thank you for all the time you put in to making NG possible. I know it's been said and will be said more, but you do an awesome job. I've been three years in a row now and haven't been disappointed. Keep up the good work.
