Not really fallen.. Its just that there are some technical issues which no one seems to have been able to verify or work out related to the knock sensor circuit.

Anyone want me to take photos or anything from my JDM 94 GTO ECU? I'm pulling it tomorrow.

Yea, its not exactly totally refined yet... Im hoping that when it is, it will be a simple, very elegant plug and play solution!

Not at all, there is some very good information in this thread including schematics of circuits related to the ecu.

there is also a lot of information that has been found out/changed in this thread over the last few years. a new, all-inclusive, thread needs to be made so the people who are coming into this fresh can learn the correct information off the bat

Last few years? Really? Actually this thread is only 15 months old, and ironically, the information in the VERY FIRST POST is still the same. The most important information is that the knock sensor circuits still have not been 100% fully reverse engineered due to buried traces and blind vias in the actual printed circuit board. There are some un-knowns, although some will swear it does not matter. I prefer the scientific methods that rely on schematics, circuit reverse engineering, etc. The idea of "it works for me" is not good enough for some of us to 100% endorse. But this will be changed soon enough with the release of new information. I just have to wait until my findings are cross checked.
