Yeah, that sucks. In Ohio we just had our law get changed in Sept. to be better while driving. You can now drive concealed or on the seat. The bit about having to be locked up in the glove compartment or console is gone also. The other end of the law change also allows us to now carry in liquor establishments as long and the carrier is not drinking alcohol. Small victories over a period of time has the Ohio CCW law getting better than when it was first passed.

In Nebraska we still can't carry in liquor establishments. Rule is if less than 50% of sales come from liquor you can carry. Driving we have it pretty good though. You can drive and conceal on your person or pretty much anywhere you please.

Thank you for that. Ya I mostly got the shoulder harness for when Im walking around in the woods and target shooting.. my problem is finding a nice hip holster. Id for sure go for IWB..

OK, here it goes... for the most part, terrets is correct. With the exception of a few extremely well placed shots, a 9mm is NOT known to be a one shot take down round. Perfect head shot, yes... perfect shot to the heart, yes. Anywhere else on an amped up meth head, good luck not emptying the magazine on him. Here is a true story of the ineffectiveness of a 9mm: The neighbor in front of me was a deputy sheriff and got a call about a dog gone mad and he responded to a St Bernard that was in a garage that had an apartment above it. The dog would not let the owner come down the steps (it was his dog) The deputy finally figured out it was time to shoot the dog when after 20 minutes, nothing calmed the dog down. Owner gave permission to shoot and the deputy did, again and again with his 9mm. The dog was really pissed off by the fourth shot and was running around and going up and down the steps. Bottom line was the deputy emptied the 15 round magazine into the dog. By round 12 the dog was being slowed down by all the lead but did not expire until after he was shot 15 times. In telling me the story, he went on to say that was one of the reasons they(the deputy sheriffs) did not want to go away from carrying a .40 cal to the 9mm, but it was a move that the Sheriff and the county dictated. He said that his .40 cal would have put the dog down with less than half of the shots. His assessment, not mine.

I have no idea what round he was using, But it would not surprise me that due to the county being cheap, it was FMJ

Well, if that's the case, there isn't much difference at all between the ballistics of a FMJ 9mm and FMJ .40. That would be pretty shitty if they didn't use hollow points.
