All these gun owners and no one has an opinion on safety? No one has kids? No one has a bedroom vault? ...okay, back to politics.

Yeah, it's called education. I have taught all my kids about gun safety. I also lock my bedroom, that’s where I keep my guns. They know they are not allowed to touch a gun without my permission. They stick to it also, they have called me to ask if they could shoot sheet under a friends fathers supervision. I know the father and trust him.
No kids, but when Don's grandkids come... we put some in the safe in the basement and the rest have trigger locks.
Biometric is new to me. I have no idea about lock styles and benefits of door styles. Wish someone owned one or shopped for one of these to give feedback and crticism on the pros and cons of each style and room placement.
Still have a couple of weeks to do more research on vault styles.
I typically don't like trigger locks. In panic mode trying to use a key to unlock or access a weapon is futile, especially in the dark.
Do you guys have any opinions on the vault styles I linked to? Are they good, bad, cheap? I've been to the Tanner (witch is our local gun show) and have poked around on guntrader.com but have yet to hear whos vaults are good, better, best.
I've never done any appreciable research, so my opinion isn't worth anything. I'm most intrigued by biometric, for the quickness of entry, and more advanced security. Similar to a trigger guard, I wouldn't want to be screwing around in the dark when lives are potentially on the line.

Btw... Just checked guntrader after Obama made his assault weapon proposal speech a few mins ago. Standard military issue high cap mags for M4, M16, and etc just skyrocketed. Going rate jumped from $35 per mag to "pay my asking price" just like that. 20s and 30s are selling for $75 and damn near 100 bucks now. Hang on to high caps or make some $$... Hrmmm, decisions.
Yeah, they are priced through the roof. Standard 30rd AR mags, that you could buy at Cabelas all day for $25 or so, have been going for $75 to $100 since right after Newtown.
