I would hope its 5.56, lol. What I meant is what style of AR. What length barrel, what type upper? A1,2,3,4. Since I have my SIG556 with a 16in barrel, Ill make my first AR a M16 copy, 20in A4 upper with heavy barrel. I prefer flat top(rails) instead of the carry handle because you have so many option for sights and optics. Im a noob when it comes to AR's but Ive been researching pretty hard recently.

Better have deep pockets if you plan on slinging 6.8 SPC.

Thinking about picking these up for my .44 Mag...why? Why not!?

305 grain (a bowling ball ) .44 Mag moving at 1,300+ FPS from a handgun!!! Will do over 3' of penetration through flesh and bone and it's a flat head bullet. Insane...

We'd need to head to Colorado. That round would be grose overkill for a mountain lion. Has almost 1,300 lb/ft of energy at the muzzle with a very wide bullet.

Jeebus! Stumbled into these then. Apparently this as big as you can go*. 340 grain 1,475 FPS and 1,500+ lb/ft energy.

*Approved revolvers only. Apparently people were blowing up some smith & wesson frames with them.

Edit: We do need to figure out a hunting trip. I'll look into it.
