I spoke to Frank at Koemex quite a few years ago about the Getrag rattle and its main cause is the size of the gears especially in the 5 sp boxes they are quite large and tend to knock meshing together when hot, mine has done this from day 1 but it can be stopped on some boxes by increasing/decreasing idle speed.
