Hard to say because the two offer very different things. They make similar power but the EVO is better at hauling kids and groceries and also handles better. If you prefer the sound of a V8 and like driving muscle cars, the goat is for you.

If you're going to get an EVO though, at least get a 9. I'd actually suggest you get a 10 but based on the selection you've provided you might have already ruled it out.

    EDIT: also, nice thread necro.

    yes, thread necro.

seriously though, the goat is PLAIN. the only way it looks 1/2 way decent is if you do a 100% holden conversion to it.

I dont need a car that stands out all the time, I like to fly in under the radar. Its more about driving pleasure and that gto had it, spend a bit on suspension intake exhaust tune you got yourself a BEAST. Turns out I ended up buying another stealth (see sig), I just couldn't bring myself to drive a 06 gto with 7k on it in the winters.

    Current:
    1972 Chevy Nova
    2004 Ford F350 Lariat 6.0L
    1991 Stealth TT FWD
    1962 Volkswagen Beetle

    Previous:
    1994 Stealth RT/TT
    1999 3000gt SL
    1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle
    1976 Jaguar XJ6
    1991 Chevy S10
    2000 Ford focus

yeh i dont like the way the Pontiac made the Monaro look.
it looks like a bit of a pig.
get it, do the holden or HSV conversion ( the good thing is you'll find a lot of aussies wanting to do the opposite so you can just swap parts) and you'll have a wicked looking ride.
in australia we have dedicated tuners ie. Russo Performance etc. so you can get these beasts making some serious power!

Lol, it was halfway down on the very first page. This subforum apparently doesn't get much traffic

It definitely does not, but I'm trying to change that for the ENTIRE forum.
