Just a question, I'm not too clear on this. Wouldn't 2nd Gen mean 94-96 since 97-98 got a different face lift making it a 3rd gen and 99 would be 4th gen?

Yes and no! Many people do separate up to 4 gens. The biggest change was in between 93 & 94 when 5 speeds became 6 speeds, popups became fixed projector headlamps, transfer cases went from aluminum to steel, boost increased changing horsepower from 300 to 320, brakes got larger and added a piston to the rear, and passengers got an airbag. The truth is gens are a persons interpretation. Your not wrong at all, but I do believe that the majority refer to their only being 2 different gens. It's simpler that way.

a lot of deserving cars here, many of whom i've voted for previously. immaculate cars. highly modded cars. well maintained cars. all of this makes it nearly impossible to differentiate the field. i'm usually a fan of underdogs too, and i've voted for several contenders who fall under that banner.
...but there's only one car without the much-overplayed 99 bumper, so even without all of the bling or the sting...he gets my vote.(apologies to joe, because his car actually CAME WITH the bumper, unlike all these posers.
)
p.s.
i'm tossing my vote his direction in the hopes that he gets off his ass and starts modding the car something fierce--starting with ditching those hideous wheels.
had to vote for 2fnloud. Made shiny parts for him![]()
More stiing... less bling... thats my motto.
Also, chrome dont get you home. LOL
