    Repair facility around Midland MI....NOW!

I need a repair facility around Midland MI, I am 100% sick of the valve stem seals on my car smoking. I thought the PCV valve fixed it. But evidently not. Is there anywhere 1/2 decent and cheaper-ish ....even in Michigan. I cant afford xcellerated at the moment.
Ahhh, One last fix. And it would literally be perfect for ......prolly a week BUT! thats still a week of perfection.

Only one real 3S service shop in the state that I know of www.xpauto.net.

But, their are just west of Detroit. THe mi3si mailing list might be able to help their are other 3S owners up that way.

    Alan,

I live in central, MI. Midland is about 30-4o mins from me. I don't know of a shop other than XP I would take it to. I did have Sublime do my 60K but both are like 2 hours from me.

Jeff at XPAuto did my 60K and 120K maintenance, among other things, all at once last year when I rolled 100K. It was an hour drive, but he knew what he was doing. Pretty impressive, when you go to a shop with all the bays full of 3si cars!

Yea, I went there for my 3rd gen lifter swap. I just cannot afford what it costs to do the VSS. I sent Jeff an email today to see if he could beat Pampana Motorsports Quote because he is closer. If not I'll be going to Pampana. My main concern is that "if" something happened, Im covered you know?!

    Also thanks for the replys

INDY HERE I COME ONLY ~250 DAYS haha.

Don't forget to consider the cost of getting the car to and from ray vs having Jeff do it.

They are both great shops and either will do a great job. Just don't forget travel costs.

yes i can attest to this, what you may save in labor cost you could make up for in travel costs, not only fuel but train/air fare to and from also.

I'm sure if you told them Pampena's price, Jeff would try and work something out.
