I have to agree. I met him on "the other site" while I was a freshmen in college with a 96 3000gt Sl with a blown motor. As soon as I got out of school we trailered my car there and dropped it off at his house. Although I was terrified to leave my baby at a someone's house that I have never met, it all worked out. Within 2 weeks my car had a 3.5 in it and was running low 15s at the track.
Soon after that I decided that I still didn't have enough power. The MMS (Morgan's Motorsports)/ STL3S team came with me to look at a few VR4s. Then we finally found one. I was told that if I didn't buy it, that someone else in STL3S was going to because it was such a good deal.
MMS devotes a lot of their personal time to these cars and usually tends to not get much recognition. MMS/STL3S has changed my life for the better and I know that even if i ever sell my VR4, I'll still have some of the best people in my life regardless of what I'm driving.
September 2010 I Joined the Air Force but I was not going to sell my car. Von gladly has been watching it for me. I got a few weeks off in December 2010 where I got to come home. When my parents picked my up from the airport and we drove home. In the driveway was my car. I was not expecting it to be there but he delivered it there on his own free will with all the work done to it that I asked him to do. Hes not just a "car guy" he is more off a Big Brother to me...or a dad since he is so old
I've have been ordering more and more parts to his shop and he has yet to tell me to slow down! (I don't think that is possible...)
