Then in the couple of hours between the car show and the banquet, we had to total up the winners for the car show, and then sort through all of the pictures and put them in the slides. Prior to the banquet, we didn't have time to edit and/or resize the pics so they are about 5-6 mb each. But the positive side of that is that the large file size kept them looking nice on the huge projector.
We are just messing around (well, I am). It's not a big deal at all. I think the slide show was a HUGE improvement. Other years I always found myself wondering what car won what.

Yeah, honestly as I was making the slideshow I realized that using pics of the exterior wasn't the greatest for the best interior awards, but there wasn't much to do about it at that point. But it was better than nothing. Maybe we'll put that on the list of improvements for next year.

    This!

I would have liked to see interiors just because I couldn't attend. I'm sure there was some great creativity as was demonstrated by the variety of exteriors

You guys have no idea what it took to pull off that slideshow. Seriously.. Bob worked on it a lot before the event, but then he and Alan had to coordinate after each event. With our on-site schedules, that meant whenever they could find a spare 20 minutes and when Peggy and I could pick up the slack elsewhere. It was quite a feat. Just tallying votes from the car show in the amount of time we have is nearly impossible. Add the slides to the mix and it's a miracle. Bob, don't worry about trying to get interior pics for next year. I honestly think that's pushing it too much. How about if those winners post up their own pics of their interiors so those who couldn't attend can see them? I think that's a more-than-fair solution.

    Someone had to say it!

After awhile, it became comical. People (including me) began to yell out, "Shake the box!!"

(I had all dark blue tickets) LOL

Edit: Slideshow was epic! Great idea and execution. Was awesome that the venue you chose was able to broadcast it on the TVs as well.

I agree. Big round of applause for getting this slideshow together. It really added a whole new level of AWESOME to this event - being able to place faces with the cars.

Again, awesome job on getting the slideshow together. Everyone I talked to enjoyed it!
