    trip home. I filled up outside of Indy.

    I got home the trip odometer said 305 and I had used 1/2 tank.

    My truck and trailer got 8 mpg on the way there with a strong headwind. Got 9.5 mpg on the way home with a good tailwind. With that same tailwind the 3/Ses driving back to MN got 29 to 30 mpg.

    I've always heard you can bump 30 mpg with these things; thought so myself when I drove home to Michigan from Colorado in a snowstorm, driving the hell out of it all the way, pulling 27 mpg.

    What I need is a wee bit of discipline, I think.

    I have an N/A and got 27 on the way (672miles) and 28.5 on the way home.
