Hey guys I have a 93 base model 3000gt 190000 miles and the car has recently been stalling when I put it in neutral when coming to a stop the rpms go low then pop up then fall to zero then the car shuts off. Happens when I switch from any gear.however If I push the clutch down after I switch into neutral it won't fall to zero and then I can leave it in neutral and let the clutch go. Put in a new filter yesterday but it still does it. A month earlier I had taken out the first muffler and replaced it with a cherrybomb glasspack (i know I'm retarted)
And the exhaust smells horrible now. Will swap out the entire thing within the next month however. Could that be the reason it's stalling or could it be something like a fuel pump.

Glad to be a part of this forum. I bought my first Mitsubishi ever and it happens to be a blue 1991 3000GT SL with 51,000ish miles on her, I had a couple of older supra's which I sold because I started a family, now the kids are all grown up and its time for me to play again. I bought this car because it was low milage in excellent condition and garage kept. The moment I saw it I fell in love with it, I like it alot better then the Mark I and II supras I use to have. Im ready to get this girl running properly and on the road cruising. Sorry to rant on...

Names Joseph. Just joined the forum. Glad to be back. I use to have a 1992 VR4 back in the day, but just recently bought a gto from japan. Cant wait to get her. One owner and only 44k km which translates to about 27k miles. everything seems to be pristine except for the driver seat lol which is to be expected. Found this site while trying to look for seats. Well hope to pull up some pics once I receive her.
