Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.
If you're talking about the lines for the turbos themselves, certainly. The problem is that over time they become kinked and marred after having been removed and reinstalled so much. They might appear normal to you but kinks, even of the small variety, will exist in almost every hard line that has been removed before. That's going to inhibit fluid flow.

I've re-used all of my lines many times without issues.
It really depends on how well your car was maintained. The feed lines are very small and can clog easily if your car hasn't had regular oil changes. The oil feeds are the only thing I'd ever worry about replacing.
