ThanksUnfortunately I forgot my zoom lens so was stuck with my 28-105mm lens so some don't quite have the zoom I would have liked but other then that not too shabby I think =] ... anddd I forgot my tripod :/
Many thanks to all of you who brought the NG back home, in pictures, to the rest of us who were unable to make the event this year. My build is still on the engine stand waiting to get the cams degreed in then into the car. Maybe next time.
Is it just me or did I seem to notice that several cars had some definite problems with loosely packed carbon atoms not seeming to bond like they are supposed to do?
So far there were only two (if I remember correctly) pictures of drive shafts that literally seemed to rip apart at the seams and both were carbon fiber.
Is there a pattern there or is it just me?
If I was thinking of eventually going that route the pictures have definitely changed my mind. I thought that was “top of the line” stuff yet now it does not seem so. I can only surmise that happened at the strip.
Would like to hear from those that took home some valuable lessons that others might find informative. Sort of like a” what works what doesn’t work” sort of thing. Must have been a great mind meld to learn from.
Lonely (till next year) in Las Vegas.

Bill's first PST (the one that looks like a broom) died due to engine fire. His second PST he snapped a u-joint at the drags.
Von's ACPT (yellow color) snapped at the drags, though we aren't sure if the marks on the shaft are due to it hitting the sway bar before or after the break.
