What amazes me is that you guys are honestly this gullable.

#1: The Japanese are speaking Japanese. I could put in subtitles to say anything I wanted, and you people would believe it.
#2: There's nothing in this video that shows human excrement at ALL.
#3: The fridge says SHIT BURGER. Are you fracking kidding me here? It was obviously added.
#4: The narrator calls it a "turd burger"
#5: The laboratory stated in the video does medical research. The only trace of this guy always comes back to the damn "poop burger".

The whole video just doesn't make an ounce of sense.

No, our current Prime Minister just spent his entire non-public career working at the National Citizen's Coalition, a non-profit dedicated to singing the praises of smaller government, privatization, and property rights, just to turn around and go full pinko-commie once he was elected... *note sarcasm*

Right now we're seeing a lot of what happened in the US, namely the 'we're going to have to make hard choices to get the budget under control' and 'we need a bigger military and more anti-terror laws to protect our sovereignty' spiel...its not like they're even saving any money, because the deficit they're saying we have to deal with by cutting government spending didn't exist until they took over, and its Canada, do we really need a big army?

its a joke, I mean they're spending extra so that the long-form census here doesn't have to be mandatory anymore... just so some paranoid people can hide from the census workers what their bank, credit card company, insurance companies, etc. already know.

Nevertheless, Al Jazeera English is the finest news source I have yet discovered, and since I can get it streamed to my TV through my Roku, I'm satisfied. To those that think it is a propaganda machine for Al Qaeda, I challenge you to watch it for a week. It is something we don't get from any US source - real news about the rest of the world. France 24 and BBC World are nearly as good, but AJE is #1 in my experience.

Is CBC really that good? I heard it was also considerably politicized like it's Southern cousins. I concede that you do get BBC World up there, which is certainly respectable reporting.

The CBC gets a bad rap from Sun Media, who's been trying to peddle Sun TV a.k.a. FOX news north, and has so far been failing heavily. The only complaints I've heard about it being biased have been from said corporate competitors, and people who don't watch it. Mind you I've also heard a lot of complaints from people I know who are much more left wing than me, that some of the CBC's commentators, such as Rex Murphy (not its news guys) are very right wing, so I'd say if the right calls it left and the left calls it right then it must be reaching some sort of balance.

As for Canadian media, CBC I find is balanced, CTV and Global are also pretty good. In print, the National Post and most of the Sun newspapers tend to be clearly and obviously right-wing oriented, and the Toronto Star tends to stray more left.
