So yea I just got rear ended and have quite some damage. anybody on here know of body work and can tell me what it would cost me (insurance) to fix this. I dont want them totaling my car. but my kbb value is 3200 and this is the damage.

Ouch man. Sorry to hear that, but I'm glad you're okay.
It'd be really hard for anyone to give a solid estimate without looking at it in-person. Sometimes what could look like a flesh wound could be much more under the bumper. The body panels will be the cheap part, but if there's frame damage... well... you know.
Take it in and get quotes from multiple body shops. Don't go with the first one you find, and take the insurance company's 'preferred' body shop recommendation with a grain of salt.
yea its a bummer. I hope its not too major. I just hope they dont wanna total the car for this. I have a lot of money in the engine, wheels, and seats. I also have a lot of blood sweat and tears into it.
I have a feeling it will be totaled, sorry. The rear end is caved in and that's not a cheap fix. You could buy it back for the mods and build a new car, or part it out. I'm glad to hear you're ok at least.

I guess if it comes down to it I will do that. Single turbo it and make it a track car! lmao jk I guess I do have to concider that possibility.
Definitely totalled, but at least you're okay!
it may not be totaled. you really need to pull the bumper & crash bar to tell.
That got into under panels. I slid into a tree two years ago and for a shop to fix the tail lights, hatch, bumper, crash bar, fender extention and paint was $3100. So I replaced the tail lights the latch area had been pushed in about a 1/8". And mine didn't hit nearly as hard as yours.

i've got everything for the back (minus the crash bar) and i'd sell it for $300 shipped. AND it's green.
Ouch dude. I'm going to have to go w/the consensus here...chances are, with that low of a blue book, it's totalled BUT at least you're alright. My buddy got rear ended a few months ago and is all jacked up from it. Take the money, buy it back, part it out and build another
...or start pulling aftermarket stuff off now and toss on junkyard crap in its place. When I was worried about my old car being totalled the body shop guy told me it doesn't matter WHAT is in there, just so long as there is something.
60% of the time, my car works every time.
