I love all coasters, but for me, the scariest remains my first. As a kid, we used to spend a lot of time at the Pike, in Long Beach. And at 8 or 9 years old, they didn't come any scarier than the Cyclone Racer. I couldn't get enough of it. It creaked, groaned, and in it's last years it was pretty much falling apart as you rode it...

Wooden coasters will always have a special place in my heart.

    Is that a joke?

I've been to Six Flags Great America (Illinois) countless times. Superman, Batman, Raging Bull, and Vertical Velocity are awesome. I was just at Cedar Point in May, totally sweet. As others have said, Millennium Force and Raptor were incredible. Top Thrill Dragster may be short, but could very well be the most fun I've ever had in 17 seconds. Maverick was great, and Wicked Twister and Mean Streak were both really fun. In the two days my brother and I were there, we got in just under 35 rides. Very little wait since it was so early in the season. It was awesome.

Iron Dragon is "fun" and I always ride it. but its a pretty tame ride. Mine Ride has more excitement that the Iron Dragon.

it is kinda tame, but the experience is what makes iron dragon. open air, suspended, close to the water. lots of scenery. it's just a blast. a nice, relaxing ride--especially great if you need a cool-down from something else.

Did Dollywood this past week. Thunderhead is an absolutely amazing wooden coaster, I certainly understand now why it is ranked so high. Man, it never lets off, just full tilt from beginning to end. The mine coaster was really cool too, different concepts involved made it really interesting and fun. Less than impressed with the Tennessee Tornado. I liked the lay out of the track, three loops was awesome, but that thing is fairly rough for a steel coaster. Still really fun, but I found myself really needing to plant myself hard to the seat to keep from banging my head.

That thing looks like it could be a decent amount of fun. Sorta like those free rolling coasters, but you can't flip it out of the track.
