    Help! Rust on pressure plate

I just bought a new clutch from a member. The pressure plate has some rust on the face. Is there any way to fix this or should I take it to a machine shop?

If its light rust, just use some abrasive paper on it. If its heavy you may have to have it machined to get a totally flat surface again.
