    Took some photos last month. This was my favorite of the bunch.

    She's currently at the shop getting her entire AC system redone. Quickest $1.8k I ever spent...

    $1800? Ouch, that sucks. They pulling the dash for the evap core or something? Parts aren't too awful if you shop around.
    I only spent like $250 on a re-manufactured compressor and new drier.

    Looks clean tho

    what is it that usually goes bad on the a/c?

    mine blows but it doesn't blow cold

    Clutch can go out, compressor can lose compression or seize up, leaky orings, leaking condensor. Worst is if you have a leaking evap core because you have to pull the dash to replace.
    You might just need to be topped off. Can get the gauge, filler and a can of 134a for around $30 total.

    I may be temporarily disconnecting my A/C to cleanup the engine bay. Would replace o-rings while it's down. Would I need anything other than the $30 kit to get it charged again?
