i just put on some new rims and tires. new michelin pilot super sports, that can handle .9g's in the wet! with some Enkei Racing PF01(18x9.5)in satin black. lost 22lbs in weight and gained 1.5 inches width per tire.

still got the tein springs and camber arms sitting in the garage, lol.

glad to hear about your success with the pilot sports. I think those are going to be my next tire. BTW, your car looks pretty cool, are you ever going to paint the front though? Your car looks confused, it can't tell if its going red or if its going black haha

thanks and they are pilot 'super' sports,Michelin Pilot Super Sport the newest in the line!

its going black bit by bit. i plan on painting in the spring. a 600 mile road trip with a slight vibration at 65-80 (after balancing the rims 2x) was enough for me to go with rims now, paint later. its always been about what under the hood to me, you cant enjoy that with a shaky wheel, lol.

I completely agree. In fact, that's why I have been shopping for tires and came upon the Michelins. My old tires are beginning to shake and that tells me it's time to start shopping for tires again. I also found my tie rod ends to be a bit weathered so those are getting replaced as well before getting the new alignment for the new tires.

Man, that's a big frontmount and a crapton of intercooler pipe. Think it will affect spool/lag? I like how you keep the lines out of the engine though. That sucker is going to be hot with that wall infront of the radiator and no hood vents. You adding ductwork or vents or anything later on down the road?? Looks like you're getting close!

Haven't had a single problem with heat yet actually, and we've been in the high 20's for the past while, there's also a big Greddy oil cooler that takes up over half of the intercooler sitting right behind it. Haven't noticed any lag issues either really. For now the car is going to stay as is, but over the winter I think I'm going to do a 99/Novara kit on it, and paint it black or red haven't quite decided yet.
