You'd need a new drier, and you'd have to have the system professionally refilled.

When did you get this one? Ever locate the old blue 1g?
Never did find out where the fiji went. I doubt it's still in one piece.

The stupid part is my AC is actually still blowing cold. The terrible noise is the problem.

I guess the compressor's clutch bearings were starting to fail causing a loud whooshing/scraping sound whenever the A/C was turned off and then it started doing that noise with the AC on as well a couple days later. When I brought it in the first time I had started hearing the noise they replaced the AC/Idler pulley, which was going out, but I guess the noise I took it there for didn't happen when I brought it in. Now that it's making the noise consistently, and my mechanic heard it, he told me it's the bearings failing and shooting metal shavings into the system. I guess replacing only the compressor and the drier would leave the metal shavings in the system, so I need a new compressor, condenser, drier, and I think some other parts as well in order to get a warranty on system. I don't think he said anything about the evap core... Anyways, for that price, it better be working good as new when I pick it up in a couple days.

Here's two more pics from the same shoot. I notice now in these pics it still had some water drops on it from being washed shortly before the photos were taken, lol.

It's highly recommended to have it professionally refilled after it's been taken apart. If you're a stubborn, cheap ass, parts whore like me, you could do it yourself.
*And always replace drier whenever compressor is replaced. Drier is actually pretty cheap too.

If you're leaving everything intact and just topping off, a gauge, filler hose and can of 134a should be fine.

    They're base rims? Interesting...

Its a 95 SL, I just figured they were the standard chrome SL rims for the 95 year.

Oh and those lights are my DRLs.
