I have a set of re-chromed 95 TT wheels now and I don't want to mess them up.
Looks OK to me but I've found the 5 spoke wheels to be pretty easy to maintain with just a little water and a towel. I just use a latex glove and run my hand over them with the hose on low, then towel dry. If I had those million spoke jaguar wheels I would use this product or something like it.

thanks I picked up some 100% cotton towels to clean them. I read from some of the motorcylce groups that microfiber can scratch the chrome.

Chrome is a LOT easier to maintain than polished aluminum. You have obviously not owned chrome wheels.
i've never been able to compare "exact-design" to "exact-design" so yes, you're probably right on the weight. that said, the vast majority of chrome wheels are cast--which is why they tend to have heavier weights than any of their non-chromed, spin-forged counterparts. that's an indictment on the process, not the chrome--but chrome IS the default "bling" for low-quality wheels.

i've never had a problem keeping my polished wheels shiny when i wanted to. didn't take that much effort *shrug*

Nice! The wheels are already pretty shiny

BTW, don't expect too much out of the tips, they always seem to go back to the brushed look, at least in my experience.

    Looks sleeper now.

Different year rear bumper on the car? Pearls don't match.
