if you want to change the car's color, and do it RIGHT, you're looking at a minimum of 4 grand--assuming someone else is doing all the work. MINIMUM. if you want to do all the prep, and someone's cutting you a great deal on paint/labor--then i suppose you can hack the price down considerably. still...you get what you pay for. i've heard endless stories about guys who think that a $500 paint job should be just as good as a $5000 paint job. and for what it's worth, they're probably correct---assuming of course, that you never are closer than 10' from your car.

As said you do NOT wax a car right after its painted. It has to outgas and cure.

I can get a pic of my car tomorrow when i R&R my sway bar bushings. Well actually more like replace. Can't remove something that isnt there lol I'm pretty sure this is why my car handles so bad right now. One trip to philly and I lose a bushing. Damn roads.

Yes thats a spare stocker bonnet I sprayed matte black while I fix my Deft 575 which blew off my car cause I didn't have Hood Pins Installed .........(thank the lord it's savable)
