And I love that the LHN is simultaneously blamed for A&M leaving for the SEC AND preventing the big schools of the B12S from going to the PAC.

PAC does not want OU and OSU without Texas because they bring a very small TV market and terrible academics. PAC does not want LHN in its current state. Texas is not going to weaken it's golden goose. LHN saves college football from super conferences? LOL

The first time I've ever agreed with troll logic. You might be on to something, well played!

I don't think the Big10 has a problem with the LHN... I can easily see "forks" later of other schools... like the nortre dame channel(owned by big 10) etc... Eventually they know the LHN would come to them. I think Texas punked ESPN when it paid them 300 million

I see eventually the Big 10 splitting into team channels if the viewers are there, they already have like 3 big 10 channels (HD and Low def, alternate stations to show 2-3 shows at the same time)... its not hard to add more.

Imagine a Ohio State Channel, Michigan Channel, Nebraska Channel, etc etc. It would be very "school" related but I could see it happening. Thats alot of time to fill but I would hand out 3-4 hours a day to each school to develop schools news and programs. Kind of like public access channels. The programming is free

I'm not saying that Texas hasn't had some very talented teams (one of my favorite games to watch was Vince Young basically single-handedly beating USC in the Championship) but I would attribute the losing record against Texas recently for the Huskers more to Nebraska not being as good as they should rather than Texas being an overall better program.

As for Nebraska's departure from the Big 12, I think that the Huskers even from the beginning didn't particularly like the idea of the Texas teams joining since it created a huge power shift in the South division. Nebraska was the only real elite program in the northern division, while the south had Oklahoma and Texas, and a better recruiting base for the rest of the teams.

So, Beebe is out as B12 commish. Reports that Oliver Luck was in Dallas yesterday talking to some B12 officials.

Incredibly well documented conference realignment summary.

The only thing I'm seeing in this that appears inaccurate is where he mentions the SEC rejecting WVU.
