Driving to the NG.

So I am coming from Arizona to the NG and I know driving a nearly 20 year old car across country has its perils. Is there anything specific I should bring other then what I have listed below? Or any recommendations?

Coolant
Tranny Oil
Tools
Spare Tire

cI would bring a full size floor jack just in case, if you're already bringing tools.

I'm really bummed, I only live a few hours away but I'm scared of my hood flying off so I can't go lol I can't believe people are coming from that far out.

What part of AZ are you in? I'll be leaving SD on Sunday morning, driving out the 8 to Gila Bend, then the 85 up to the 10, through Phoenix and north on the 17 to Flagstaff, then west on the 40 into New Mexico. I plan on stopping somewhere east of Albuquerque the first night.
I'm not carrying much in the way of tools with me since I don't have any trunk space, maybe a socket set and a bottle of oil. If I need anything else along the way, I'll just buy it. I made it to Memphis for the NG 2 years ago and my car was fine for the whole trip, other than my lifter tick at the end of the trip because I needed an oil change bad. I plan on changing the oil the day before I leave, so even that should be good for the whole trip.

A little tape for the trip and you shouldn't have any problems.
