I don't understand why Cleveland fans hate LeBron so much for leaving that terrible franchise. It's obvious to all outsiders that he was fighting an uphill battle there having to win every game on his own. He never had a chance to compete consistently for championships over there.

NBA needs a franchise tag before it turns into UEFA soccer.

When players leave because they can't compete for championships the problem isn't the teams not buying superstars to compete, it's needing to take stars from other franchises to be able to have a shot at winning it all.

What's the difference between the NFL and the NBA? In the NBA, if you don't have at least a couple big names you don't have a shot at winning the big games. In the NFL, good coaching, and a well rounded team with a star quarterback always puts you into contention. Even the star QB is a big if so long as you have a awesome defense to give your offense a shot.

Give NBA teams a franchise tag to be able to keep their franchise players like NFL teams can. Stars don't concentrate themselves in a handful of teams and turn the rest of the league into feeder teams for the top tier ones.

miami sucks. can't even sellout a NBA finals game.

and many Cleveland fans likely dislike lebron for taking so long to make/announche his decision, "what should I do?" etc.

Cleveland should have known what was going to happen all along. He had nothing to gain by staying with them.

Shaq did the same thing in the middle of his career (ironic that I use him as an example given the sig above me).

    D. Wade is my favorite player in the NBA and it made me so happy when LeBron chose Miami. This has been an amazing series thus far. The only team I would potentially root for over Miami is Oklahoma City (Durant).

maybe having Lebron was not such a good thing. I hope he took the Cleveland curse with him.
