    I need 1 18X9 SSR GT1 wheel

About two weeks ago I got a crack in my front passenger side wheel.

I took her to get repaired, but the crack is all the way through, they can repair it if I can't find a replacement, but the wheel will never be as strong. And for safety I would much rather find a replacement.

If you have one or know of one that is for sale please let me know.

SSR GT1 18X9, I will need to double check the offset when I get home.

    Thank you,
    -John

Ad last updated 1/31/2008. too narrow and wrong bolt pattern.

Or you could sell the 3 good ones to me instead. That would be good. I have a white 99 VR4 that would love to have a set of GT1s.

That sucks man. I bought an extra RPM2 wheel in case something ever happened to one of mine, after going through the hassle of trying to find a discontinued wheel a few years before that.

I haven't seen a rim crack on the front like that. Yuck. Good luck! I know how tough this could be. I had a very hard time finding a single replacement Blitz type 03. They where rare and expensive even before they where discontinued... Had to go to $upra guys to buy a whole new set.

When the shopped pulled off the tire they said it looked like a split on the inside that had been there for a while. Since these were used the previous owner of the wheels could have hit something years ago, not damage could be seen or felt, then I just hot it just right to cause the wheel to fail.

Good idea on the Supra, I'll hit up their boards and the Mustang guys.

The guys I knew from my $upras days had tons of cash and very expensive parts. Expensive rims like these where a dime a dozen and on almost every car. Still it wasn't easy to find mine. I searched for probably 3 years..... yes years. Hopefully yours are a bit more common. I have seen them up for sale rarely on the "other sites" classifieds.

    Hope it works out!

The new owner of my Stealth said he was considering going a different route and might be interested in selling the SSR GT1's that are on it. They are MINT with relatively new tires, so they won't be cheap, though.
