Is this a good spot for a wideband?

The car is just about put together and Im hoping I dont have to delay longer... I was wondering if the rear more O2 bung is a good spot to put the wideband... It looks like it will catch both streams... Also I did get a front precat delete and I got about 85-90% of my rear precat cleaned out... Is it too close to the turbos? It sits about flat...

Just wanting some input before I mess stuff up...

I will be putting mine there, and a friend has his there as well with no issues...

I have read that they have to be anywhere from 12 to 36 inches from turbos different threads claiming different measurements... and Something about a 10 degree angle on it for moisture... Im just hoping that it will work ok there... My exhaust seems to sit way too close to the bottom of my car to have anything point up from it.. lol

It will be enough distance I believe. The precat mounts above that, and combined I am guessing will be around 14"?

The location is fine. Most O2 sensor manufacturers want a minimum of 15 degrees up from horizontal to keep the sensor free of any condensation. The bung looks pretty close to level. But the O2 sensor on my son's car is installed almost dead level, in about the same spot on his downpipe and there haven't been any issues.

As a side note, I cant belive thats how my exhaust was when I bought it... The stock dp had about 3 upsizing pipes welded on it and then it was welded to a 3 inch flex pipe and welded together almost the whole rest of the way out... Is it normal for people to do stuff like that? The only "break" I had was where the 1, 3 inch pipe met the splitter...



All of that plus the dp was welded together to make 1 piece... It sucked to try and get out...



Thats the splitter... and right before it is the clamp... I wish I would have had access to those bolts from under the car...

The cat should have flanges on both ends. Behind the cat looks like my borla, although I am not sure of the splitter is just clamped our welded.

The splitter itself is welded in place... But about 4 inches before it is a clamp... The pipe coming out of the splitter has a cut on ether side of it so another pipe can slip inside it... Im going to reuse from the splitter back, and about 30 inches of the pipe in front of it for my new exhaust...

Yeah I am pretty sure that looks like my borla. Clamp before the Y and then clamp on either pipe out of the Y. Long section from the clamp to the flange at the CAT. You are missing the flanges at the CAT bigtime. Look on the sides of the resonators and see if it has BORLA stamped on it.

I dont know if I actually looked at the sides... But I dont think its a real borla... It sounds nice tho... Hopefully Im helping it sound better....
