Oil Pressure drop

So today I did an oil change on my 93 RT/TT and when I got done the oil pressure was showing great, I drove the car about 10 miles into town when the gauge dropped almost all the way to the (L). It didn't drop all the way so I dont think the gauge is broken, but I would much rather hope that was the case instead of something more severe.
Anybody have any ideas what the cause of this could be?

Today it started off not moving off of (L) about 2 miles down the road it kicked the needle to where it should be and held for a while. I pushed the car a little bit getting on to the freeway and it suddenly dropped back down to the (L) for the remainder of the trip to work. At lunch I started her up and she showed normal oil pressure, drove around and no problems. Drove home and everything seemed ok. Took it out tonight and stayed on (L) for a bit and then back to normal. The car doesn't act or sound any different when oil pressure shows nothing.
And yes....Of course I checked the oil level...

Check the electrical connection at the oil pressure sending unit. Located on the back side of the engine, near the oil pan on the driver's side. I had some wonky things happen with the pressure gage as a result of a loose connection at the sending unit.

our pressure gauge showed low readings...which made me nervous....so i got a mechanical press gauge and hooked it up ...pressure was fine.....so now we just use a mech gauge on a pod....i turst it....

Did you change to a much thinner oil?
