Funny. It won 2010 National Gathering as a 2nd Gen, which is usually denoted by the glass headlights. If I enter as a 1st gen, the first Gen guys bitch. Its considered a 2nd gen by conversion at this point.

That is why Alan gave window stickers, to avoid that type of confusion.

I'm not sure where the confusion is here. As soon as you mod your front end to 2nd gen, its considered to be a second gen. The rear is also 2nd gen stealth. Are you saying that in 2010 when it took 1st place at 3SGTO nationals as a 1992 second Gen, with 1992 on my registration and on my display, I fooled anyone? I'm more than happy to enter in 1st gen, but then the 1st gen guys will all bitch and moan that its "converted to a 2nd Gen." Anyhow. I waited to enter as a 2nd Gen purely because thats how its always been treated.

2fnloud. I liked your car a lot. What kind or rear anti sway bar did you have? Nice piece of work.

Coming from you and that you have thank you, that means ALOT. The bar is the TEC performance rear strut bar. I just had the bar line-Xed to get rid of the polished aluminum, I do not want bling in the interior of car.

Everyone complains because no one wants to compete against your car, it is BEAUTIFUL!

I don't know how the rules of ROTM go, we will see if sixsixfour allows it.

2fn. I really liked your car a lot. I thought the Hennessy motorsports details were extremely tasteful and I liked the subtle touches. The aluminum door sills were extremely well done as well. I'd like to have a few pairs cut for my cars. I'm working on a pure 1st Gen at this point (Pewter 93). I know my white car is well built, but I really don't like a lot of visible bling either. When the interior was re-done, I fought every urge to do it anything other than stock. I just got my carbon fiber badges completed and will be posting those soon. Since we're sharing tips, and I KNOW you have an eye for detail, check out rebadge designs. My new badges look like my Avatar on this site.

Hmmmmm, I think I see a new front bumper badge in the making. Carbon fiber background and the ram head in metallic silver. The only "Hennessey" thing I have yet to put on the car is the logo on the rear bumper.

I haven't decided to go with chrome or black, it will be dependent of what rims I end up with. The stock chromies I have are growing more and more on me. The final touch will be new seat covers with the "Hennessey" stiched into seat backs, but that will be a bit because my seats are in great shape.

Actually there has been a shit load of confusion about it. The trend has been if your vin is 1st gen then you are 1st gen. If it says 2nd gen then you are 2nd gen. IDK if it ever got worked out but maybe we should get rid of categories all together. Love your car BTW and I enjoyed chatting with you. Would have been cool to hang out a bit more. I voted for your car last year.
