How many times do people have to step up and tell you that they've registered their vehicles regardless of whether or not they're participating in any race events? My vehicle is registered and paid as a full registration. So is Alan's. Mine is a MINIVAN. It will not participate in anything. It's simply a way to get me and the equipment I need from one place to another. But it's registered and paid for, so you're barking up the wrong tree. These rules are most definitely not made up as we go. You skirted them for two years, and now you're pissy because you got caught. Get over it. We've had enough.

And no, it's not just once that you offended me. I saw everything you wrote on rebawc, claiming you didn't know I was a member there or you wouldn't have said it. Maybe the military should've taught you that if you're not willing to say something to someone directly, maybe you shouldn't be saying it at all.

I'm done with this argument. You can make all the accusations and insults you want. I'm not entertaining you any longer. I have far more important things to do. You've promised not to attend. I've alerted all of our venues to the possible issues and taken all precautions necessary to insure a peaceful, fun event. Thank you for that two additional hours of work, by the way. And people wonder why I want to be done. Now leave it at that and leave us alone, just as you wanted me to do to everyone who attends. That's what your post said... To leave everyone else alone, too. I see how much they appreciated you speaking for them.

"I can also tell you that if do do choose to participate in any event, you will have to register your vehicle"
"Let me check with the track and get back to you"
"And yes wayne, you are sexy "

If thats the kind of answer i got, i prob would have tried to come up with the extra cash to go ahead and do it. (back when my customer signed me up, i didnt even have a running 3s)

Instead its "No, if you drive a 3s you cannont be a guest, i dont care if you turn it off when you arrive at the hotel and dont turn it on again until you leave" (which is exactly what i had planned on doing, parking it at the hotel and riding around with J)

She wasnt even willing to check with the track and im not the one who handled this badly
Really??? "She" wasn't??? Let me state it again. The issue has come up before. The answer has come out before. It's also listed in the track rules that I received from them (which I've now verified, as though I had nothing better to do). Stop making your assumptions.

You didn't get the answers you wanted, so now I'm the bad guy and you're pissed off. Now just piss off. We've had enough. This thread has had enough, the drama is enough, and the NG doesn't need it. You should probably hang out on 3SI... I bet they appreciate you far more over there.

it's not my place to judge that one way or another. i'm grateful for his service (as i am of all who have served and continue to do so). at the same time, i don't like to hear people tooting that horn; and i myself don't like to make a big deal about what i do. yes, i work for the DOD. that doesn't entitle me to any special status in life, nor should it. in fact, i like to keep things low-key about what i do...because i'm an asshole; and i don't want someone's arbitrary impression of me reflecting on the DOD. i have a right to speak my mind, and i wholeheartedly capitalized upon that. it is, after all (at least in some small fashion) a more tangible freedom to those who have served than to those who have not.

i would hope that if/when i should ever find myself in a damnable position that i NEVER refer to my service as some kind of "get out of jail free" card. shameful acts on my behalf are a reflection of ME as a person--and bring dis-credit upon the DOD.

i only wish more people (both servicemembers and civillians alike) understood this concept.

Show me where its written in the registration process or anywhere besides this thread that guests are not allowed to meet you there, and if they do their car must be registered. show me show me show me show me (although im sure you can just add it now and say it was there all along)

If that was the case this wouldnt even be an issue because my sponsers would have told me way back when he/she registered and i wouldnt have to ask if guests are allowed to participate if they pay the event fee

Maybe this thread will do some good and next year it will finally be added to the reg page instead of being brought up when someone asks an unrelated question
Edit, or maybe not because apparently this came up last year with someone else

And it also wouldnt have been an issue because i would have been registered a long time ago when my sponser registered and i would've just paid the event fee and been happy to announce that i would be racing. And all you people that all the sudden hate me would have been happy that i was too.
