Wayne bitching about registering for the NG

Im a guest because i spent the last 6 months building his car, delaying my plans to move across the country, so he offered me a place to stay to break up my drive time. Im a guest of him and the hotel, not a guest of ng. Its too bad he had to pay NG $50 for the privilege of having me stay with him. I would be asking for a refund if i were him.

You should set up check points at all the major arteries leading into The city and charge any 3s you see, a toll for the privilege of being there and/or driving through while the gathering is going on. We can call you Gandalf....................

Or, you could stop being an asshole about it, and follow the rules like everyone else..............

I dont care what im driving. my vehicle is not participating in any events and neither am i. If everyone else not affiliated with NG but happens to be staying at the same hotel at the same time have to pay for the privelge of sharing a parking lot, so will I

Wayne, If anyone comes to the event with a car they are expected to pay a full or weekend registration. Its part of paying your fair share of the event cost.


You are not special you do not get your own set of rules.

Im a registered guest of the hotel and ill use the facilities that the hotel provides for me by paying them to stay there. I couldnt care less about any car club events and dont plan on being a part of any car club events so you can keep your $50 name tag and leave me and the rest of the guests alone and we'll do the same

I hope you did not use the NG code to get a room. If you did will find the price of your stay going up about $150 per night to stay there. AS the room rate for people not at the NG is about $200 a night.

If you are using the group discount code for the hotel (or the person you are staying with is using it), then you are using part of the gathering benefits. If you really want to be independent, then you could purchase a room at the regular price (if there are any available remaining after the group reservation expires).

If you're driving your own car, and they're driving their own car, how do you qualify as a guest?

Do you make people who tow their 3s there pay full registration for their tow vehicle? What if someone who lives in cali has a guest that lives in indianapolis, does their guest have to fly or drive to cali, and then ride with them? Theres a couple more ways for ng to collect more money, your welcome

I would seriously like to know what the difference is between a truck/trailer sitting there doing nothing, and my car sitting there doing nothing. If your going to charge me, you have to charge them too. It doesnt take a genius to figure that out
