This is for AWD DSM's but its all very similar for 3\S, Galant VR4\GSX's, etc.
Its alot easier just to adjust it to the proper pedal free play. I tried it this way once and it took longer than just using a tape measure.
This is the easier way to do it.

Same process deleting checking to be sure the bleeder is not blocked...

too bad you can't weld these like you can on DSM'sthen you'd never have any free play.
the pedal adjustment This will also help you as a temporary fix if you have a bad clutch master cylinder, and the clutch feels very spongy.
You want free play. If you have no free play then you will burn the clutch up.
