EGR system removal

I have a 95 Stealth RT/TT that I got as a project car. The car was wrecked and it's missing some stuff now. Instead of spending the money to replace the EGR parts I was considering just removing the entire EGR system. I don't have to worry about emissions at all, so that is not my concern and I am not concerned if the check engine light comes on because of it.
Does anyone know if there is a guide on what all I can take out and what vacuum lines can be eliminated?
I bought some of the EGR block off plates already. I just want to make sure I get all the excess unneeded stuff out and my car will still run good.
I tried doing a search on the forums already and came out empty handed, it might be somewhere but I am still pretty new here and had no luck finding anything. Please help me out if you can.

There are a few write ups on the vacuum reduction over on the "other" forum. That will get rid of your excess hoses and what nots. Removing the EGR is easy as pie...mmm...pie. It was much simpler to do on this car that I have had experiences with on other cars. Pull the egr tube from the manifold and plenum, cap both sides. Then pull the EGR solenoid from the plenum and cap that bad boy...VOILA!

Here's a little chinger I made up for myself from someone else's sketch so that I could visualize the job before going through with it. It will differ for you slightly whether or not you have an aftermarket boost gauge or boost controller. But that's the jist of it.

You got it, man. Read the write up over on 3si for more specific stuff. That picture only shows the vacuum lines. You're gonna love ripping all of that stuff out
