    need 15x8 wheels...

ok, i have been looking around and found some rota slipstreams for $115 each. I just got some Hoosier 26.5x8x15, 700 series slicks. I need to find out where there are other rims that would fit and what specs I need to ensure the rims will fit on my car. Anyone have any idea?

The slipstreams i found are 15x7 (5x114.3+40mm, 73 Hub). no 15x8 will the 5 bolt.

16" rims are the smallest youll fit over 1g calipers, specifically N/A rims.

Did Austin put smaller brakes on to accomodate the 15's? I know NA brakes barely clear 15's.

I just found the post, he used 22mm spacers, extended lug studs AND had to grind the calipers.

No other stock brakes will bolt right up on a TT that I know of.

    true.

HOWEVER... you can run smaller rotors & dedicated pads for the dragstrip....IF YOU WANT. but this only saves weight & allows for rotor clearance. caliper clearance is entirely another matter. i would suggest you try and get a calilper template for your calipers & test it with the wheels before buying. i really can't think of any 15" wheels that would fit 1g calipers...unless they were steelies--and maybe not even then.
