    NG11 Swap Meet

Each year we've offered a time slot during the NG to have a swap meet. This is for "spare parts" only, and NOT for non-sponsors to sell their goods. Last year we had issues with it, primarily because the Committee was so short-staffed. But I'm also curious as to how many would've participated.

So... Are you interested in having a swap meet this year? It's on the schedule, but if no one wants to do it then we won't. Please post here to let us know if you'll be participating. If you could also list what you think you'll be bringing, that would be helpful to some, too.

    Thanks!

I'd like to see the swap meet happen. I have a small stack of spare parts off my parts car. Nothing big just some stuff I don't need anymore.

    1. Inside Hatch lid plastic with no broken clips.
    2. Spare tire wooden cover without busted hinges

    may have more...

Maybe we should make two threads:

    NG swap meet parts wanted
    NG Swap meet parts available

I would like to see the swap meet take place. You never know what someone might bring that you would like to have.

Not sure how much organization goes into it but it's probably worth just leaving on the schedule and let it happen. Of course like Lori mentioned people do you have to watch to make sure non-sponsor businesses aren't selling stuff. I do like Alan's idea about the threads. If I know someone is looking for a part I have I'm more likely to dig it out and bring it knowing I won't have to bring it back.

there is just so much bulky crap people may need that's barely worth shipping. The swap meet is a great place for this, but what day is it? Anyway you could make it on thursday evening for those of us coming in for the weekend?

I have a few smaller items that are probably worth my money to see if anyone wants.
