I never unplugged the input to the LCDBC, just the sensor. The AEM controller supposedly outputs a 14.7 signal as failure management if you unplug it's input... I drove the car after adjusting it, and it appears to be accurate. Closed loop idle and minimal load are hovering around 14.6-14.8.

I'm just not sure I trust the other ends of the spectrum yet with a 0.8 adjustment...

Here's the same 3D printer I have on youtube:

Yes, I planning to make it similar to the Scanmaster 3 with a box on top of the steering column.

I am a complete amateur at 3D drawing, so far I've used the free Google Sketchup software for designing. I then convert it into .STL format for the 3D printer for printing.

Uniuno: No need to install manual BC. Just disconnect the boost solenoid harness from the LCDBC and you will be at wastegate boost pressure for testing -- much easier doing this way for a simple test. Although I don't believe the boost solenoid has anything to do with the chinese display. When you get firmware 3.10 installed, switching menu screens will automatically re-initialize the LCD screen.
You know just a thought I had that some people might want is this in a 52 or 60mm gauge. Keep the box remote and just find a display that will fit in a gauge pod. You could probably get pretty fancy with the display, analog looking displays and such. Anyway something to think about for the future.

I'd jump on one of these right away!

    Question:

I have my knock alarm set at 10 counts and I'm hitting 12, occasionally.

I know these things don't like knock - at what point does knock pass from negligible to excessive?
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

When are you getting the knock? Top end? Low end? Full throttle?

If/when I get knock, it's as boost passes through the 10PSI area, around 4-4.5K.

I have to do a few logging runs to nail it down, but just goofing around, that's where it occurs - even when I had the settings all out of whack. I would occasionally get reported knock, never more than 12-14 counts, and more often 6-8.

    Sometimes no knock at all...

What year is the car? 1st gen? If so have you checked the caps in the ECU?
