Sharing a little DIY on how to replace the cigarette lighter with the lcdbc knob:

    1. Remove leather brakeboot. There is a plastic ring on the bottom of it holding it with hooks. Press both sides gently and lift.
    2. To remove cigarette lighter; disconnect two small electrical connectors.
    3. On the bottom of the cigarette assembly there is a screw-on ring keeping it in place. Screw that out and take out the assembly. Here you can see what it looks like. http://www.3sx.com/store/catalog/sto...ts-17-400l.jpg
    4. Pry out the plastic bezel.
    5. Out of 0.5 or 1mm sheet metal cut out a ring with about 30mm or so(measure first im not 100% on this)
    6. Put the metal ring/coin in place with the plasic bezel in place and mark out where center is. Drill a hole on that mark. about 6-7mm hole.
    7. Fixate the rotary knob in the ring.
    8. Use silicone to put in both the coin/ring and the plastic bezel.
    9. Place 5$ ebay knob and marvel over your OEM looking rotary knob.

We follow the earth. The earth follows the stars. The stars know their way and though the body dies. The stars will remain, like the waves of the sea and restless slate.

Okay, pretty sure something is horseshit; hope it ain't me.

The LCDBC is installed, gave it a twice-over to make sure things are right.

Absent stupidity on my part, what I have is a powered-up display which is displaying unchanging 0s for PSI and KNOCK.

The car seems to be running on no more than WG pressure, and I get fuel cut at 4K rpm.

Starting to wonder if the solenoid might be screwy/NFG, although the likelihood is I've done something wrong.
Ranked No. #1 in initial quality

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

I would take a look at your vacuum hoses. Make sure your battery isn't accidentally pinching your hose or something like that. Someone had this problem, and it wasn't revealed until after they removed their battery from the tray.

I will re-check for good vacuum tomorrow - nothing should be pinched, but I guess you never know.

    Finally got it squared-away.

I moved the boost signal-line to the manifold side of the throttle-body (Teed into the port on the firewall side), and all of the surging, etc, went away.

Reset the duty-cycle to 35, zeroed all the offsets, and set peak at 14 PSI.

I'll be playing around with it for a while, and post again when it's as tweaked as it needs to be.

    Antero - I salute you.

    This is a great addition!

For what it's worth, I have a spare 16mhz chip, if anyone needs one.

    Also a MUT/serial cable.

Antero, in a previous post, you show that HHH needs to be set to 'Metric' to play nice while logging - just want to verify this is correct, as I'm using 'Imperial' for everything else?

For those who've wondered - don't think anyone has posted daytime pics to demonstrate visibility, so I have three; one from face-distance, one from halfway to the wheel, and one right at the wheel:
