I have a question about the wideband feature, I just got a ngk afx and set it up and the afx reads correct at 14.7 at idle and the lcdbc reads 10.5. is there a way to adjust it to read correctly. Or did I hook it up incorrect, it has a yellow analog wire and a brown ground wires i just hooked the yellow one up should I ground the brown one?
I just googled for the NGK AFX manual and found:
The yellow wire from NGK AFX goes to Wideband O2 input on LCDBC.
The brown wire from NGK AFX is ground, this can be left disconnected if the two devices (NGK AFX, and LCDBC) grounds are not far apart from each other, otherwise attach the brown wire to the LCDBC's ground (power cable).
WBO2 LOW= 9.0
WBO2 HIGH = 16.0
Ok I'll attach that in a little bit, I been reading alot on the ngk afx and they say its the best sensor out there. So far its been great plug and play, unlike the lc-1 that had 7 wires that each go here and there and here and there. Thats crap was just confusing and a headache. I love the ngk afx.
I hooked up the wire and it still reads at 10.5 and 10.6 is there anything else it could be
???? No sir I didn't, I don't even know what that's means lol. Is that through the settings menu on the lcd.
Yup. WBO2 LOW=9.0 , and WBO2 HIGH=16.0 .
Lol ok I put those in and it went to 9.3 and 9.4. Do I have to play with the factor or offset at all. I changed it to egrt and it reads 14.4 but it doesn't move. So I'm going to put it back to wire and wait to see if you say to change the setings again. Oops it does move in egrt mode it just moved to 14.8 but I know this is the slow way to do it and I want it on the wire.
