    I also love this thing. I look at it more than any guage I have now. With this thing I realized I had a bad habit of selecting to high a gear ant too low an rpm range. I was getting a bunch of knock and didn't realize it.

    If that happens with the tactrix or other OBDII cables installed, it's not the LCD controller itself. Sounds like it's still powering something after the car is off, or there's some kind of weird short going on. My car doesn't have that issue with the LCD controller, tactrix 1.3, or tactrix 2.0 - but my car is a 95.

    I am just trying to find out if other 98-99 have the same lock then unlock thing happen with their cars. I am not sure if its how the 98-99 were designed or if is an issue with my car only, but it only happends if one of the cables are plugged in.
