I wasn't able to reproduce this in my driveway. All connections seemed fine. I've also got some gnarly boost surge going on. I'm going to unhook the MAC valve (maybe I bought the wrong one?) and try running the manual boost controller to see if the surge and the chinese gibberish goes away.

    Hmm.

    Got my attention now...

Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.

Sorry for not reading all 97 pages but from the first page it looks like i NEED this in my life

What's the going rate and what is required to fit ? I have a 1997 JDM GTO which runs MUTII (or hybrid i thinks its known as) 3 plug ECU. I'M located in the UK so ideally shipping costs too.

This looks like an amazing product and thank you for taking the time and initiative to develop something that furthers our platform.

PSI Start, and PSI End are duty cycle modifiers that runs 100% duty cycle temporarily for fast turbo spoolup. This could also introduce boost surge when the values are set too high. You can turn off this feature by setting the PSI Start =1, PSI End=3 (values are below wastegate spring pressure).

I have made version 3.10 that re-initializes the LCD screen each time you switch menus. That will get rid of the JDM/Chinese characters as a quick fix, so you don't have to reset the LCDBC.

    Attached is firmware 3.10

I can only build 1 more of the current design, and then I'm out of printed circuit boards.

In the works is a boxed version where the LCD screen and rotary encoder are mounted inside a smaller box (think Scanmaster 3 style). This is more for people who are afraid to cut, and rather just mount. Now that I have a 3D printer that can print plastic boxes, I can produce custom designed shaped boxes.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try that for the way home and attempt to flash it when I get there.

So I turned them down to 1 and 3 and the surge went away for the most part. Only did it once. I gotta figure out the Chinese thing.. it didn't do it on a couple quick pulls and i was able to see the cool little boost graph. I'm gonna flash it now, won't have results til tomorrow, there is a fireworks show a mile down the road so all the roads surrounding are clogged up. At least I'll get to figure out how to flash it.
