Idiots, simply by being idiots, seem capable of achieving randomly bad things that are beyond the imaginings of sensible people.
Yeah, I'm not sure. It all seems fine sitting in the driveway. Then I boost to 5psi and it does this and stays like that until I restart the car. It will even let me scroll through the gibberish.
It is brand new and I'm not sure how to go about doing that. Still a good idea, thanks for the advice! I will look into seeing what it takes and do it after work.

Uniuno: Your funny display is the result of either bad communication between the LCDBC and LCD, or intermittent power loss.
(a)-see if you can simulate the problem in your driveway by wiggling on the LCD interface cable at the LCDBC box. This will verify if the white connector makes good contact.
(b)-verify power cable connector is fully inserted, and then wiggle the 12volt power connection, and do the same with the ground connection.
(c)-move your ground wire to the ECU screw bolt (best ground for the LCDBC).
(d)-the LCD display is touching something metalic in the rpm meter.
If we can't solve the problem, I could always rewrite the software so it re-initializes the LCD screen always (currently it initializes only once during startup).

Thanks Antero, I will check all of those things tonight. I know it is grounded over by the fuse block since power and ground share the same loom. I can try going through 2nd gear without boost (won't be much fun) to check (D). Maybe it's RPM related rather than boost?
JDM version yo!
